St Anne’s Church, Tottington

Find out more about us.

St Anne ‘s has stood at the heart of the village of Tottington since 1799. It is a traditional Church of England community that is open, inclusive and family friendly.

We are not stuffy! The services mostly follow the pattern for Holy Communion and we are supported by an able and highly motivated laity. We have an excellent organist and a well established choral tradition. Mothers’ Union and Scouts and GirlGuides meet in the parish hall on Thursdays and Fridays.

The young people of the Church involve themselves as altar servers or collectors and are an important element in the life of the Church. We also have a “God Squad” of late teen early twenty year olds that meet locally and have in the past been to Taize.

The Vicar is always happy to see people about getting their children baptised or to discuss other matters such as marriage and confirmation.

We have a study group and prayer group that meet during the year as well as mid week Holy Communion services.

The people at St Anne ‘s come from very different Church backgrounds but have made St Anne ‘s their spiritual home. During the year a wide number of social events take place that give newcomers the opportunity to see what we are like outside of Sunday worship. The Vicar is always happy to visit.

We hope that when you visit St Anne ‘s you will receive a warm welcome and have time for a chat after Church at coffee in the parish hall.
