Thank you to all those that have supported me in my fundraising for breast, ovarian and cervical cancers- I have raised £2,989 for the three charities from two events plus personal donations including a virtual quiz night (March 2021) hosted by our local quiz master Luis McBriar and a fashion show and afternoon tea held in Tottington St Anne’s Church Hall (October 2021).
I am now in training from this year’s event having completed Walk February and Cycle March (2022). I am now taking part in Cycle April followed by Cycle May 2022 plus gym training after which I am hoping I will be prepared both physically and mentally for my up-and-coming challenge…!
My cycling partner Claire (who resides in Devon) and I will return home on Friday 17 June after meeting my sister in Amsterdam, who is flying in from the UK. We will spend 5 days in the beautiful city Haarlem, located outside Amsterdam, for a bit of retail therapy, dining out and culture.
