At full Bury Council Meeting on 20th July 2022, a cross-party motion was passed to campaign to secure the survival of the Castle Armouries building in Bury.
It was agreed that an open letter (see link below) would be written from the Council and other concerned parties to the MoD, urging them to provide the necessary funds to make the building safe, and to modernise it.
Bury Council will publish how many people have supported this motion on 5th September on the One Community website.
