A young member of our congregation became a champion swimmer at a competition earlier this year. 14-year old Charlotte Hulme, earned the title Lancashire County Champion 2016 for her age group in the 100m breaststroke on 30th January. Charlotte came 2nd in the qualifying heats, but took the number one spot in the final race. She also qualified 6th place in the 50m breaststroke but ended up winning the silver medal by coming 2nd in the final.
