Welcome to

St Anne’s Church, Tottington

An open, inclusive and family friendly community. We welcome visitors and would love to have you join us in one of our church services.

The coronavirus government guidance for the safe use of places of worship was withdrawn on 29th March 2022. This is in response to the general overall approach now adopted which is ‘living with Covid’. In response to this we have now taken down from the website the risk assessment document.

We are delighted that our worship at St Anne’s is now ‘back to normal’. Previous arrangements such as social distancing, mask wearing, and other restrictions are no longer a requirement. However, we recognise that individuals may wish exercise personal choice on these matters. In line with Church of England guidance Communion can be taken in both kinds (bread and wine) should individuals wish to do so. However individual communicants may choose to receive the Sacrament only in the form of the bread.

Please contact the Vicar for any clarification.

Hymn writer George Herbert

This sixteenth century poet was priest at the little church of St. Andrews in a village in the Wiltshire countryside with the rather quaint name of Fugglestone-Cum-Bemerton. It is just outside Salisbury and is quite significant to me as it was where my goddaughter...
