Welcome to
St Anne’s Church, Tottington
An open, inclusive and family friendly community. We welcome visitors and would love to have you join us in one of our church services.
We are delighted that our worship at St Anne’s is now ‘back to normal’. Previous arrangements such as social distancing, mask wearing, and other restrictions are no longer a requirement. However, we recognise that individuals may wish exercise personal choice on these matters. In line with Church of England guidance Communion can be taken in both kinds (bread and wine) should individuals wish to do so. However individual communicants may choose to receive the Sacrament only in the form of the bread.
Please contact the Vicar for any clarification.

Confirmation and Reflection
This year there are twenty candidates making their promises and being confirmed by the great friend of St Anne’s, Bishop Jack Nichols. As usual there are a mix of boys and girls among the adults who have been prepared over the last six months or so. Some of them I...
Jubilee
Unless one happens to be inhabiting the innermost regions of the Amazon Jungle it is highly unlikely that The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee has passed you by! Naturally in Tottington, our celebrations are later than those undertaken by the rest of the nation, but mark and...
Hymn writer George Herbert
This sixteenth century poet was priest at the little church of St. Andrews in a village in the Wiltshire countryside with the rather quaint name of Fugglestone-Cum-Bemerton. It is just outside Salisbury and is quite significant to me as it was where my goddaughter...
Alive in God
I am just embarking upon another great book by Timothy Radcliffe. It was a sort of Christmas present to myself and once again he does not fail to satisfy. Alive in God is an exploration into the importance of imagination in the Christian life. Radcliffe considers the...
The Queen’s Jubilee Party!
To celebrate the wonderful reign of our Queen Elizabeth II the room had been decorated in the afternoon by members of the Committee, with a table for each decade from the 1950's to present day. Around 44 members arrived in the evening for the Jubilee party. Alison and...
