St Anne’s Mothers’ Union held an Indoor Street Party to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles lll. 57 people enjoyed a lovely evening of friendship and fellowship which included a toast to the King, flowing Prosecco and lovely food followed by a quiz and raffle that raised £138 for a local charity. Thank you to the Committee members who worked so hard ensuring all had a great night and to all that supported this vibrant event.
Thankyou!

Well what a great evening we all had on our annual drive and meal which was held at the Spread Eagle in Sawley. A very good turn out over 40
members and friends.
We all set off on a beautiful hot evening and had a lovely scenic coach drive through the Ribble Valley with lots of good chat and good company.
Before our delicious ‘fine dining’ meal Mavis passed on good wishes from Marion Sutcliffe and Margaret Whittaker and also welcomed friends of Members to the evening. Isobel then said Grace.
The evening came to an end far too quickly and Mavis thanked the staff for their excellent service and I think we all agreed the 2 or 3 course meals served were excellent.
At the end of the coach journey home Mavis thanked Isobel, Margaret Parker and Margaret Whittaker for organising a lovely evening.
