‘Behold, a Virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and he shall be called Emmanuel, which means God with us.’ St Matthew 1: 23

Wishing you a holy and blessed Christmas from the The Rev Richard Moffat, Churchwardens and Parochial Church Council of St Anne, Tottington.

Tottington Parish Needs Your Help

Following the departure of the Reverend Hugh Bearn who had been part of Tottington village life for over a quarter of a century you may have thought that in due course he would be replaced with another full time Vicar. This is currently not the case!

St. Anne’s has been informed by the Diocese of Manchester, that the Parish will only be given a part time Vicar who may be shared with other churches in a wider mission community. We need to demonstrate there is widespread support for a full-time vicar so we need your help to persuade the Diocese.

There are two ways in which you can help:

Pastoral Enquiries

We are very happy to respond to any pastoral enquiry. Please email hello@tottingtonstannes.org.uk and we will always do what we can to help.

Safeguarding at St Anne’s

The care and protection of children, young people and adults involved in Church activities is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of our Church.

Services at St Anne’s

Holy Communion

Wednesdays at 11.00 am
Sundays Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) 8.00 am and 10.30 am (Common Worship)

The Service of Holy Baptism

Contact the churchwardens on the numbers at the bottom of the page or email hello@tottingtonstannes.org.uk for further details. You can apply for a baptism by clicking the button below.

The Christmas Gift

The Christmas Gift

We often refer to Christ’s coming at Christmas in terms of gifts. The word became flesh and dwelt among us. Unbidden and unsought, Christ comes to earth to reveal what God is like in a way that eludes human reason. The Christian story is something no one could have...
